General rule: do not use metal utensils.
Always use as reference the following table:

Tea type
Water temperature (in Celsius degrees)
Infusion time
Oolong tea
95 degrees
1-9 minutes
Black tea
95 degrees
3-5 minutes
Green tea
70 degrees
1-2 minutes
White tea
85 degrees
4-15 minutes

We present below how to prepare each type of tea.

Oolong tea / Black tea

To prepare the tea, always boil the water, using fresh cold water. After boiling, put the tea in water (about 2 grams) and pour water over the leaves.

Black tea: Depending on the desired taste, allow the tea in water for 3 to 5 minutes.

Oolong tea: Leave the tea leaves into the water for 30-60 seconds to 9 minutes, if you want a stronger tea. Then remove the tea leaves, which can be reused for making multiple infusions, each with its own charm.

Green tea / White tea
When green tea or white tea, do not use boiling water because it will "burn" destroying the tea leaves and flavor, resulting in a bitter tea.

Green tea: Leave the tea leaves into water only 1 to 2 minutes.

White tea: Tea leaves can stand in the water from 4 to 15 minutes, with leaves completely immersed in water. If the taste is not the one you want, then you can adjust the time.
